On the heels of the release of their debut EP, People Like Ourselves, in December and a nation-wide tour supporting Dorothy, The Georgia Flood wasted no time getting back to the studio. The first of several 2017 single releases, their brand new song, “Take A Hit,” draws from inspiration from bands like The Revivalists and Saint Motel.
“Take A Hit has a groove that came together in a style that blended modern day pop with the old soulful feels” explains Brooks, lead singer of the band.
The Georgia Flood consists of two brothers, Brooks Mason and Lane Kelly, with their long time high-school friends, Gavin Deleshaw and Damien Navarro. Barely into their 20’s the band is touring the country and hitting thousands of ears with genre bending unassailably addicting hooks.
“Take A Hit” is out on all digital platforms now!
